Dodgers offering seats in ‘fully vaccinated-only section’ for Saturday’s game against Padres – KTLA Los Angeles

If you’re fully inoculated against COVID-19 and you can prove it, you are eligible to sit in a special section at Dodger Stadium designated for ticket holders who have received vaccines.

The tickets in the Loge level’s “fully vaccinated-only” section are currently only available for Saturday’s game against the San Diego Padres, according to the Los Angeles Dodgers website. Before entry into the vaccinated section, fans must show proof that at least two weeks have passed since their final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Once inside the designated section, those who are fully vaccinated will not be required to social distance. Instead, people who are seated in the section will be seated right next to other parties. Face coverings are required to be worn in the fully vaccinated-only sections, but they can be removed for eating and drinking if a person is in their designated seat.

In addition, children between the ages of 2 and 15 who can provide proof of having tested negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours will be admitted to the fully vaccinated-only section, but those under the age of 2 do not need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

The fully vaccinated-only seats will be in sections 166LG and 168LG of the Loge level. Ticket holders for those sections must enter the stadium through the Right Field Loge entrance.

Dodger Stadium’s announcement came after California state officials announced earlier this month that venues can choose to have sections just for vaccinated people, who do not need to keep 6 feet away from others. The state is also letting event venues that require proof of a negative coronavirus test or vaccination let more customers in.
